Wow!

Wow...I honestly forgot I had this blog. I just read my last post (sadly out of 2 whopping posts) and realized how much life has changed. Luckily, life has changed in a good way. It was sad to even read the post. I hit so many of the goals mentioned without remembering that I shared them for all to see! As of now, I'm no long just a girlfriend but a wife to an amazing man! Bryce and I were married on 12-28-12 at Melbourne Beach. It was the wedding I always wanted and I can say I wouldn't change a thing! I have now lost 34.9 lbs just by counting calories and exercising and oh does it feel good. I feel better about myself and LOVE to shop again since my sizes had a major change. Ha! My husband and I bought a house (my first house I can call my own) this past June. We can now have friends over, have cookouts, etc. Those are the things I love doing and needed. No more sitting home and missing out on life! Lastly, I am still at Quest and finally took the courageous step to join a life group. Best decision ever! I'll try to keep up this time. Now, I'm off to prepare (even more) my my first graders that will be waiting on me bright and early tomorrow (7:15)! That should be against the law... ;)

One of those days...

Today was one of those days where I had to remind myself of all my blessings AND not my worries of life. Reflection is always a good thing, painless or not. Everything really does happen for a reason and God's timing and plans really are what I strive to achieve in the end! As for my 21-Kickstart Challenge, I'm perfectly on track and down a pound already, yay! We shall see how the end results are...hopefully I will have good news! Happy Tuesday!

Tackling "things" one at a time...

I am many things...Christian, teacher, friend, child, parent to 2 spoiled puppies, girlfriend, and so much more. I am also part of the 30's club, a place that once seemed so far away. I now see struggles that I NEVER had before. I now struggle with motivation, weight, etc. I can tell I'm not as outgoing and joyful as I once was...SO, it's time to change that. My first step is to tackle the weight and healthy living issue. To work on this, I have started the 21-Day Kickstart Challenge. I have only completed two days at this point, but proud to say I have stuck with the challenge 100% and plan to follow through for at least the 21 days up ahead. This blog will be random. It will include my progress with my 21-Day challenge, exercise weaknesses (blah), questions about life, teaching ideas, etc. I hope to hear amazing ideas from my readers! This is my first shot at blogging. Let's see how it goes... :-)
